Maker Faire® is back! LASTEM Innovation Center Region 7, North Louisiana STEAM Alliance, and Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) come together to host Shreveport-Bossier Maker Faire® 2026. Makers from all around the world, the U.S. and locally…and we need you!

The Maker Faire cannot happen without you! Many volunteers are needed to make these events possible. Please consider volunteering your time prior to, during, or after the event. Only through the help of many volunteers can we meet our goal of making both events an enjoyable experience for Makers and guests alike.
Tasks include everything from event setup, tear-down, assisting the Makers, admissions/ticketing, general assistance/runner, activity stations such as our soldering station, and many more. There’s something for everyone! With our web-based sign up, you can choose what you want to do and when you want to do it.
We will be updating volunteer needs until the start of the event. If none of these work, but you want to be notified of new positions, or if you have questions, comments, or special limitations of which we should be aware, feel free to reach out to us at Shreveportmakerfaire@gmail.com.

Please note, we may solicit you to perform a different duty as tasks, last minute emergencies, and volunteers vary. We will work to ensure reassigned tasks are in keeping with your original request.
Note: Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer on their own. Volunteers under 18 may participate, but they must have a parent/guardian/responsible party working with them during their shift.
